Default Single food or mix it?

I don't think this food is on the list, so I thought I'd ask some advice!

http://www.purinaone.com/Products/Produ ... &HBX_OU=50

This is the food Kamo is currently on. She loves it. But I read the nutrition requirements on here and I'm just not sure she's getting what she needs from this food. Should I keep using it and just get another one to mix it with? Add in some wet cat food? I'm just not sure!

Also, she does not like meal worms or crickets....is this normal? The only treat I've been able to get her to eat is apples. She doesn't like eggs, lettuce, bell peppers, cheese, or cooked carrotts. Picky eater?

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Default Re: Single food or mix it?

*sigh* When I got Sherlock he came with a bag of that food... well either that or the adult version... I don't remember exactly. It's not the woorrssttt food in the world, but the ingredients are just not great. Corn, and chicken byproducts.... yuck. It's not one of the foods we'd recommend.

The only problem is that apparently that crap tastes AMAZING because it has been a huuuuge struggle to get Sherlock hooked on any other kind of healthy food.

Take a look at the dry cat food list here viewtopic.php?f=6&t=15 and start shopping around for a few of the recommended foods. You'll have to transition your hog slowly onto the new foods but adding a bit more of them to her old kibble at a time.

Good luck!
