Default Eggs

I've been reading that our little babies can have eggs. I also know they need to be cooked but can they be hard boiled or do they need to be scrambled. I like to change up her treats now and then.

Hard boiled and scrambled are both ok. Good luck!

Bacon has tons of salt to preserve it, so even a small amount would be suuuuper salty for a hedgie. I'd stay away from it

I give a small bacon treat once in a while. I am not advocating it though, as bacon is very unhealthy - even for humans. The stuff I eat (about once a month) is low sodium & has less chemicals & such in it. Still not healthy. That said, my hedgies have always seemed to love it. However on the 'health' meter I would equate it to eating a bag of potato chips - there's nothing good in there except (sometimes) the taste.
