FYI: Popcorn-poop smells like popcorn
Last night, my little friend stole and munched on a small popcorn crumb. Tonight, his poop smells like popcorn.
This was an unplanned experiment (  ), and I wouldn't really recommend repeating it as popcorn is easy for people to choke on (much-less hedgies!), totally devoid of nutritional content, and from the smell and observation of a bit of that shiny-kernel-skin in his poop, not very well-digested.But, if anyone else encounters that particular scent while cage-cleaning, now you know why. |
