Default Canned Meal Worms

I saw somewhere some canned meal worms and I'm wondering if anyone has used them, or if they are safe to eat?

They should be fine. Make sure they aren't freeze dried. I've heard stories of hedgies dying from eating them because they can't digest them.. Also refrigerate the can after opening and it should be good for about 2 weeks.

I used to use canned. I actually froze the can after I opened it and thawed a few each time a gave my hedgehog meal worms. He liked them a lot. Keeping them in the fridge is good if you'll use them within two weeks but my guy didn't eat that many of them so I always had to freeze them or throw out half the can. Only thing is the cans really stink, like a lot and sometimes when I froze them all the meal worms stuck together in a big mass and I couldn't separate just a few.
