Default New baby: need guidance with food blend

I am picking up my new hedgie tomorrow. He is 8 weeks old and has been fed kitten chow. I'm sure this has been asked in some shape or form, but after staring at food labels at Petco until my head hurt, I need advice on what foods I should wean him onto. I owned a hedgie years ago and Spikes was all the rage. Obviously times have changed and I'm so confused.

Thanks!

I would say have him on a high fat mix because he is still growing. My hedgie Sprinkles is 3 months old and her kibble mix is a mix of 3 different kinds of food. her protein is 35% and fat is 14.5%. She is a runner so her needs a higher fat level. her mix is canyon creek ranch chicken and brown rice, authority kitten chicken, and purina one indoor advantage

This should help! It's Moxieberry of HHC's website: http://www.volcanoviewhedgehogs.com/kib ... oduce.html
Personally I use(d) a mix of Chicken Soup Adult Light, Solid Gold Katz-n-Flocken, and Innova Weight Management (due to recall issues I have removed this until further notice).

Spikemoose I am really glad that the bag of Innova that I feed Sonic was not part of the recall but when I have to buy him more food I will be taking out the Innova in case of it happening again. I heard it happens a lot with that company that owns Innova.

Thank you for this chart!!! Based on another chart I read I went with Wellness indoor, but I am definitely going to add in some other foods.
