Default Eating less than usual?

Percy has alway eaten about 2 tbsps of kibble a night with a tad little left over which I'd toss out the next evening and refill. Lately he's only eating about 1 tbsp and a little bit and I'm tossing more out in the evening. He turned 6 months old and I'm wondering if they start to eat less as they get older. Everything else seems fine with him and nothing's changed in his habit's ect... I have been cutting out mealie's for the most part as he was gaining weight rapidly and is now steady at 479g. Just a little concerned that he's not muching like usual.
