Default Wellness brand cat food

Does anyone have any experience with the Wellness brand cat food? Specifically the weight management formula? I looked up the analysis for it and it seems to be very high protein and low fat. I like that the top ingredients for it are meat. It seems to be pretty perfect, but it's always best to get opinions from those who have used it. Thanks for any help!

It looks good to me. I haven't used that specific type, but I used Wellness Indoor with Lily & had no issues, and she seemed to like it. One thing to note is that a number of people discovered that Wellness foods seem to give their hedgies loose, smelly poops. The theory was that it's too rich for hedgehogs, but I don't know whether that's really the case or not. Some do fine with it, some have issues. I haven't heard of issues recently, but I'm not sure if that's a case of no issues being present, or people avoiding it just in case. At any rate, I don't think it'd hurt to try introducing it & see how your hedgie does on it. It's not going to hurt them - it's just something to keep in mind if you see the change in poop.

Keep in mind though, that it's best to do a mix of two or more foods. The Wellness looks great, but it'd be a good idea to find another food to mix with it as well.

I use this food in my mix with Spot's Stew Salmon/Chicken and Acana Ranchlands. Finnick loves it and usually picks it out first. His poops are fine, and considering he gets Wellness and a fish-based food I think that's a pretty big deal! I say go ahead and give it a try .

they say it's too rich for some hedgies. I have not noticed too much of a change in poop since introducing it, but I don't mix it half and half. I go maybe 70% Chicken Soup and 30% Wellness(the orange kind)
