Default New treat I'm not sure about?

My vet gave me some treats for my pug, who's allergic to basically everything. Apparently he's supposed to get 2 tbs a day. He said they'd be fine to feed a few to a hedgie as well, but he doesn't even deal with exotics (to my knowledge) so...

Super Dog: High End Dog Treat
~The first of it's type
~Enriched with Elk Antler
~Semi-Soft
~No Meat of any Kind
~Extruded with no chemical preservatives
~Fruits, Vegetables and Minerals Balanced
~**Does your dog suffer from... Arthritis? Joint Stiffness? Injury? Lack of Energy?**

Ingredients:
Ground Brown Rice
Soy Protein Isolate
**Freeze Dried Elk Velvet Antler**
Carrot Powder
Dried Whole Ground Apples
Ground Saskatoon Powder (I live in Saskatoon, and I don't even know what that is lol)
Ground Flaxseed
Yeast Extract
Kelp Meal
Inulin
Ground Parsley Flakes
Garlic Powder
Yucca Schidigera Extract
Citric Acid
Potassium Sorbate
Taurine
Glycerin
Glucose Syrup
Sunflower Oil
Molasses
Phosphoric Acid
Flax Oil
Lecithin
Liquid Smoke
Mixed Tocopherols
Rosemary Extract

**Elk Velvet Antler is a safe, natural remedy that relieves joint pain and promotes bone, muscle and cartilage growth.**

Guaranteed Analysis:
Crude Protein: 16% (min)
Crude Fat: 7% (min)
Crude Fiber: 1.5% (max)
Elk Velvet Antler Powder: 2.5% (min)
Moisture: 27% (max)
Ash: 3% (max)

It's a Canadian treat, so it won't be well known. I'd never even heard of it. After writing this, I feel less and less sure about it.

Why don't you call your local exotics vet and ask about it and other hedgie safe treats

Nothing jumps out at me as being unsafe. The nutrition isn't great as part of a meal bur as a treat, why not??

I'd go for it but only a teensy bit at first then maybe wait a day until you can examine the poop and make sure it's not green.
