Default Basil just turned three, should I put him on senior food?

So my darling Basil is getting up there in his guesstimated age. Would senior cat food be beneficial to his "aging" self?

Usually senior foods are just lower in calories/protein, and some include supplements to help with arthritis or what not. For hedgies, a quality cat food regardless of what age it's meant for is good enough. Inky gets a mix of cat foods including kitten, adult, and senior formulas. You're probably safe sticking with what you're using now.
