Default Dome holder broke- Delivery not coming for 48+ hours

So today my mother decided it'd be a great idea to invite my young step-siblings over to see Zoinks- Nevermind the fact that two of them are under ten with the youngest being 4 and I wouldn't be in when they were visiting...

Needless to say it didn't go well, the hog was alseep, my Mum couldn't get him out, the kids didn't get to see him and in turn the youngest one pulled our che dome holder wire and SMASH...

When I was told after getting home I was FUMING and after arguing with my Mother for a spell quickly ordered another one from Swell-Reptiles, only issue is it won't get here until the 5th the earliest.

Currently it's rather warm in my room anyway but I know it gets bitter of a night, currently our plan is leaving the mini space heater on and hoping for the best...I was wondering if anyone had any quick short term heating issue solutions and if not any advice on how we can hopefully avoid a hibernation attempt.

He did come with a metal reptile heating mat but I'm unsure how to use this safely in a plastic ZooZone2.

I wouldnt use the metal mat its not very safe or effective.
You can use a space heater at night, and cover up the bars with tin foil, or two jumpers with a gape in the middle for air flow (this is what I did for a while when waiting for my che) helps a lot, and as he doesnt like it being over 22c it will work great for you over night, the days have been really hot recently so wouldn't worry much about it during the day but if you make sure the clear plastic isnt covered the cage should still get plenty of light to leave the bars covered up.

It will work for the short period while waiting for the new dome.

Keep the cage in the smallest room you've got with the doors and windows closed and heat that room with the space heater.
