Winter is fast approaching and I'm worried about my boy.
So I want to get the CHE heat setup, but I'm not sure how it looks. So I'm currently browsing the web in search for available setups, and I need help to see which one is best. So far, I have one that matches the name, but I'm not sure if its the correct one. |

Yes ma'am, thank you. With the setup, there isn't any risk of him burning alive right?
Because I wanted to cover the cage I have with a blanket, since its an open wire cage, and my mom said he'll suffocate and get roasted. This isn't true, right? (Kinda scared, thanks mom.) |

No if you keept it at 25-27 it wont do that. I'd cover the tops with tinfoil rather than blankets. Because the tinfoil isnt likly to set on fire if its close to the che but the blanket may get too hot and cause a fire (its happned to someone before lucky for them the hedgehog was out on bonding time) the tin foil will keep the heat in as long as you put it shiny side down. It will reflect the heat back down into the cage rather than all coming out
If your using an open wire cage your better with the dome holder (just making sure that you know) |

If you dont do it right tight on the bars it should be fine. If your worride about it just leave some spaces around where theres no tinfoil it will still keep majorty of the heat or poke a few holes around in the tinfoil.
