Default Help me with CHE

The CHE thing confuses me. Can anyone pick out what I need on Amazon?

This is the cage I am getting (not from Amazon, it was over-priced)....http://www.amazon.com/Midwest-141-Ferre ... 448&sr=8-4

Will one 150 CHE be enough?

Yes, they're right. Just make sure that the hood you use has enough wattages for the light.
Also, if you use the second level of the cage, you must in case it so that your hedgehog doesn't fall off or climb over.

That is the right fixture but the 10" size is a better choice. It spreads the heat out further.

So this is what I have in my cart now

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0018C ... W7IRUDN056

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000FT ... PDKIKX0DER

http://www.amazon.com/Zoo-Med-ReptiCare ... lies_img_b

10 inch clamp lamp, 150 watt CHE, thermostat

He is in (as of today!) a single ferret nation.

The room he is in is naturally cool in the winter. It is a very small room though. We have it 76-77 in his cage right now with an oil space heater. I am also adding thermal curtains to the window.

Will this CHE keep the cage warm enough, do you think? Does the CHE set directly on the cage? or how?
