Default Heating a 2x3 vs this?

After whipping out the tape I think I can manage a 2x3 however, would I need an additional che for this size? Its either going to be http://www.petsmart.com/product/index.j ... ickid=cart or http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-28-x42-Guin ... 3cbc79d5fc. My winters are cold, and FINALLY after waiting a week my thermometer is coming today. I need something that will be easier to heat.

You shouldn't need more than one, but you should keep a digital thermometer inside to make sure heat is steady

One thermostat controlled CHE (100w or 150w) in a good sized lamp (10" diameter) should be sufficient for those sized cages. I'd suggest getting two anyhow - the last thing you want to find is that yours has burned out and you have no back-up.

It's happened to me more than once that either the CHE or lamp dies. I've learned to have back-ups. I had a thermostat die on me once too... those are harder to come by. While I can find the CHEs and lamps in the store, thermostats appear to be online only
