Arrow Cheap, but Good-Quality Heating

I need heating for little Daisy's cage. She sleeps on top of my chest (wooden, not flesh) and it's summer right now and my house (upstairs) is always at least 74 degrees, so I'm not terribly worried right now, but fall and winter are coming soon and I'm panicking about my hedgehog going into hibernation! Can someone please help me find a cheap but good quality heater for Daisy? Right now she has a heating pad that lasts about, an estimated 4 hours and I use it during the night so she doesn't get too chilly, but I'm looking for something that will last longer. Please help me!

The best heating options aren't cheap - either a good quality space heater or a CHE set up. Personally I'd recommend the CHE set up. It's going to cost $75-100 to set up, but that's the same you'd pay for a good space heater too. CHE set ups typically use less electricity than space heaters since they're heating a smaller space. You need a ceramic heat emitter (CHE) bulb, a 10" lamp that's rated for use with CHE bulbs (I like Fluker's clamp lamps), and a thermostat to turn the lamp on & off as needed to keep a steady temperature. You also need a digital thermometer in the cage, if you don't already have one.
