Default Lung Congestion

Hello, I've been on this forum numerous times now and wanted to ask if anyone knew anything about lung congestion? My hedgie, Luna, recently passed from lung congestion and something else. (Still waiting on results). Is there any medication specifically for lung congestion? How do they get that? Is it commonly mistaken for pneumonia? I remember telling my vet that I don't think the medicine for pneumonia has made any difference, I think she just changed the type of pneumonia medication. If anyone can help, I would greatly appreciate it. I'm still looking for all the answers and I won't rest until then. I also have another hedgie (her sister) and I want to make sure I do everything for her.
