Default Topical Ointment question!

My boy cinder ended up with scalded feet pads from when i left him with a freind of mine. the vet said neosporin is okay. But if anyone can help me out with something better that'd be great too. also. any advice on how to keep him from licking it off?

Has your hedgie actually been seen by a vet? I would think you'd be able to get 'better' stuff from a vet.

Yea. He went in. But they didn't offer anything they said to just use a topical ointment on his paw pads

Then neosporin should be fine. Just make sure you're using the plain ol regular strength stuff - not the triple protection or whatever the heck it's called.

Can you rub it in a bit so at least some is absorbed before it's licked off?

One of the other folks may have some ideas...

Soother Plus from Harrison's is really good...my vet prescribed it for my WHS guy who had skin irritation.
