Default Owen hasn't eaten in 5 days, taking to vet.

Owen (2.5 yr old) with tongue injury and mite infestation. Syringe fed for 5 days. Continues to lose 10g per day. I want vet to sedate him to look at tongue. What is proper gas to use?

Update. Vet was able to look at tongue without sedation, can see sore on tongue. Gave Metacam (anti-inflammatory) 2xday for 5 days. Quills are growing back in. Hopefully can get him to eat on own soon.

How small and brown she has grown and covered with prickles! "Why! Mrs. Tiggy-winkle is nothing but a HEDGEHOG!"

Nancy, was previously feeding stage 1 chicken baby food. Started with Hills AD yesterday (4ml x 3 times a day). Seeing 1 normal looking poop after each meal now, when I wash him off (he is good at avoiding syringe now, so always get some on his face). He also gets 4ml of water each time, and sometimes will drink additional water in his bath.

Good news, he had gained 1his as of this morning. Wondered if I need to limit his exercise, so he can put weight on. I took his wheel out, but give him playpen time after each meal. Should I put his wheel back in?
