Default New owner... Sick hedgie

I need urgent help. Bain is ill. He's wobbly, acting weird, drinking way to much, out of his bag during the day, losing weight, his eyes are goopy, his hair is falling out, and his skin looks thick between his quills....
I have good husbandry and he's well looked after.

There isn't much we can do. The best thing that you can do is get him to a vet as soon as possible. A vet would be the one to diagnose any medical issues and treat them.

He needs a vet asap. Keep his environment a couple of degrees warmer than normal, and start syringe feeding him. Most important is a vet.

I just wanted to say good luck and to please let us know what the vet says! It is always hard to read a post like this and to never be able to find out what happened. The excessive drinking would indicate a possible kidney problem - I am not sure about the other symptoms that you mentioned, but it sounds fairly serious. I urge you to act quickly before it is too late.
