I record my little guy's weight every day around this same time. By doing it at the same time each day, you're removing some of the variables like giving him more time to metabolise food and should get more accurate readings. I do it daily so I can see what his weight trends are like and make sure he doesn't suddenly drop which can be one of the warnings signs of not feeling well.

I do it once a week, unless they're sick or I see any change in appetite (I count kibble daily,) then I do it more often.

I find that weighing them once a week just isn't often enough for my liking. Hedgehog lives are sped up so much faster than our own. Weight changes can be the first sign of a problem. Hedgehogs hide illness so missing that first sign may be the difference between just a barely sick hedgehog and a really sick hedgehog.

My opinion, but I weigh mine daily. I wake my hedgehogs every morning to check to ensure they have not become injured or sick over night. Weighing them only adds a couple of additional seconds per hedgehog to our morning routine.

Good point made Kalandra. I think I might weigh them every bedding change. So every 3rd-4th day or so Somewhere nice in the middle.
