Default Still itching...

I'm at a loss for my poor Cupcake and her constant itching. I feel as though I've tried everything and she still itches pretty frequently. I can see into her dig box where she prefers to sleep and notice her even waking up sometimes to itch. I took her to the vet and while they saw no mites, they gave me three dosages of revolution to give to her at three week intervals stating that sometimes the mites are hard to see and often false negatives are given. She's had her first dosage, and that was almost a week ago and I've not seen any change. There's no dry or flaking skin that I can see, and no quill loss, so I really just don't know what to do... I'm open to any suggestions.

Yes, I've tried baths, just oatmeal, baby oatmeal wash, and olive oil ( not at the same time, a couple days apart ) and there was never any change other than for about an hour afterward when she seemed to itch less.

Fleece liners throughout and fleece strips in her dig box.

So I am brand new to this but have you tried the flax seed oil or Sunshine Factor?

I know it is a different species but when we had to treat our gunea pig for mites he did not really show that much improvement until after the second treatment.

I'm still pretty new also, and yes, I tried both flax seed oil and sunshine factor. The flax seed I use a small amount in her food, and also rubbed a couple drops on her ears and tummy ( where she seems to itch most ), and the sunshine factor I still give her every other day. The flax seed I no longer put on her because I'm afraid of it messing with the revolution, but she still gets two drops in her food at night. I'm wondering if I could be overdoing it, but from everything I read nothing I've done should have negative side effects.

Hopefully after her second dose of revolution then I'll see some good improvement.
