Default Possible tumor or abscess

Hi, I just gave my hedgie Snowflake a bath, and noticed a lump near her right arm. It's just a little below it. My first hedgie had a tumor that turned out to be cancer, so I'm a little familiar with it. But this looks different than his did, and I'm hoping it could be an abscess.
I'll try and take a picture later when possible. It's weird looking because it's lumpy, and it looks like some whitish lumps on the lump.. if that makes sense. There's also a skin tag there, which was interesting, and the other thing is there's a small reddish dot, and I'm not sure if it could be an infected pimple or abscess or something. It's also movable, which I think is supposed to be a good thing. It doesn't seem to bother her too much, she stayed completely still while I touched it and tried moving it a bit, which gives me a bit of relief if it isn't currently causing her pain.
I would just like your thoughts and opinions on the differences between abscesses and tumors, and any other information that could be helpful.

Honestly, I'd just head to the vet. None of us can do much other than guess, which isn't going to be a lot of help for either of you. You need a vet to diagnose it and resolve the issue, whatever it ends up being. If it is an abscess, the vet will probably drain it & give her antibiotics and possibly pain meds while it heals up. If it's a tumor, the vet may want to do a biopsy, or may just keep an eye on it to see whether it grows. Depending on the location, size, etc., removal may be an option or may not.
