Default Weird stuff collection on face

So one of my male hedgehogs was given a bath about a week ago because he had this weird stuff on his face i thought it was just dirt it looks kinda like sand but a light brown. I tried wiping his face while he was in the water but it wont go away. And lately i havent held him as often with finals and all and he is a little jumpy so i cant get my hand to close to his face or else he just balls up. Please someone help me im really scared for him.

I just went through this. My Dinny had the same thing. I took him to the vet today and got him some Revolution.

If it is mites, make sure you treat him with Revolution, not Ivermectin which is toxic and can be fatal for hedgehogs. Revolution is very safe.
