Default dark urine

The last 2 days persephone has been a little bit more jumpy than usual and twice today I found dark urine stains on her wheel and now on the piece of cloth I had under her snuggle bag as I was cleaning the wheel. No other changes. There have been no changes in her environment and I'm wondering if I should be worried or of this is something that I'm overreacting over...
The urine is a dark yellow, not at all orange. Normally it looks much more watered down. Also when it dried on the wheel it looked slightly gelatinous which is totally not normal

I don't have any experience at all with this. Hopefully someone more experienced can give you some info about dark Urine.

From my knowledge, dark urine can be caused by dehydration. I would make sure your hedgie is drinking enough water. Or try stringing water and see of that helps.

I'm not sure of any illness or disease that will cause dark urine.

Im worried its serious because I use fresh news cat litter so its non clumping and she's on fleece bedding- there's nothing she gets exposed to that can get stuck to her to give her a UTI.
I'll try doing what I did when she tried to go on a good and water strike the second night she was home- wet my finger and touch her nose (slow process but i eventually get her to drink out of the dish that way)

My mom just mentioned that the jumpy behaviour probably isn't a symptom- I volunteer in 2 shelters and I didn't shower before I picked Persephone up, I probably still smelled like stressed animals and strange people to her

Update: she must've been dehydrated, her urine has gotten closer and closer to her normal colour
