Default quills

When hedgies ball up and huff is it normal to see there skin a little. When Hazel is in a ball or has her rear sticking up (which she sometimes does) you can see a little skin. There is no scratching and there is a quill here and there. She seems just fine other wise (except for her usual grumpiness).
Any ideas???

Being a baby, yes it is normal.

Norman is just a bit younger than Hazel and I can see his skin when he balls up sometimes, so it seems pretty normal.
