Default dry ears

Hello everyone so my hedgehog ellie seems to have some dry skin along her ears. Its not fungus or anything just looks a bit crusty. She doesnt have mites, and isnt losing her quills are anything. She turn 2 in january but never noticed her ears like this she is usually fine but i got a q tip and put some vasoline on it and put it along the tip of her ears, is it because the season change? Also my room is always warm so maybe that is making her eara a bit dry? Thanks

The thing you did with the q-tip and vasoline is good. (I was coming here to tell you to do that, and tell you to beware the resulting temper-tantrum. :P) It's probably just because of the season change, like you said.
