Default Abnormal Poopies

Hey HHC Forum!

I just got Opus over a week ago and am slowly weening him into a mix of cat foods. For the first week he ate mainly Iams Proactive Adult Original with Chicken. I've seen him experience a range of poops, most being relatively normal, however a few have been very loose and green. Is this normal?

As a side note, Wellness Indoor Health has also now been added and Natural Balance Green Pea and duck will be added shortly.

The green poop occur when there is a change in diet, stress or illness. I would think that it's just because of adding the new kibble. Every once in a while is pretty normal. I wouldn't worry unless it continues.

You can try to cut back on the Wellness a little and wait until his poop go back to normal, then once it's normal again increase the amount of Wellness gradually. Once he's adjusted to the Wellness and his stool is normal, slowly introduce the Natural Balance.
