Default More updates on Sprinkles health

So, another vet visit today, this makes 4? maybe 5 in the month since we got her...
She's still being a champ at the vet, she never curls into a ball or bites, she hardly even huffs at them, the real challenge is to get her to stop wiggling long enough to actually do anything.
BUT, while the large crusty sores on her face and around her eye mostly cleared up, a few of them have come back, she's still scratching a lot, and she's losing fur and quills. She isn't losing quills from any specific place, just kind of generally, and I have noticed there are new quills growing in, but the vet and I aren't sure if she's quilling because it's age appropriate for her, or because of a fungal / bacterial infection. (In other news, the pet store we got her from gave us further non-information today, as 2 staff members remember her as being 'just a baby' and 1 as about a 6-month old. They have no documentation that will tell us how old she actually is. Sigh. My fault for not buying from a breeder.) So she's back on antibiotics for another 10 days, in case the last round at 7 days wasn't enough to fully get rid of infection. Plus another course of Revolution, to make sure there are no mites exacerbating things. And they're culturing some skin and fur for a fungal test, plus sending a skin scrape to the lab to check for abnormal cell growth or other problems.
She's still gaining weight at a rather astonishing rate (almost 50 grams this week, and 155 grams since her first vet visit on Aug 9), and we haven't ruled out being pregnant yet, we've got another 2 weeks before we can definitely say she's not. She is a lot grumpier and spends more time sleeping in the last week than she has since we brought her home, so I'm still thinking there's a strong possibility of babies, but I'm really hoping not... Not that they wouldn't be cute, and fun to raise, but she has no pedigree, thus no health history, and I didn't get her with any intention of ever breeding her!
Anyways, I think that's all, but hopefully this latest round of treatment will clear up the skin problems, and I can stop worrying so much about her!
