Default Losing quills

Ok, my ShadowBaby has been acting normal but when I was just holding him I noticed 5-6 quills on my shirt. He isn't showing any other signs of quilling though. Could it be stress related? He has been in a new place and my grandmas dog was barking a lot last night, which he isn't used to at all. Just worried about my baby!

Looking at his back, can you see any new quills coming up through? Most hedgehogs do become grumps when quilling, but others can quill and not even be phased by it. I'm not sure but I don't think quills will fall out from stress, its either quilling or possible skin problems (mites, dry skin, bacteria, etc). I would check for new quills first before becoming too concern, as long as he is eating, drinking and being his usual active self, so far no major signs of illness.
