Unhappy Bit me & lost tooth! Help?!

Alright so I've had my baby Tyrion for about a month and he's finally used to me! He's really sweet and I think he's done quilling but today I had him on my lap and he randomly bit me. And it wasn't the usual curious nibble... He bit really hard! I'm not sure if I pissed him off but when I did the push back thing with my finger he wouldn't let go and so I just pulled my finger hard enough until he let go and a tooth came out. The tooth looks fine and he's not bleeding but does anybody know why he did that or if he'll be okay??? Thanks!

I'm gonna guess it was just a baby tooth, in which case his adult tooth will come in, so the lost tooth isn't a concern.

As for why he bit you, think about everything surrounding that moment. Did your hands smell different in any way? Had he had any treats? Or had he not eaten at all recently? Sometimes hedgies get more prone to biting when they're hungry. Had you moved suddenly or done something that might have startled him? Was there anything else that might have startled him? Were you trying to restrain him or anything? Usually there's an explanation for the bite, it just takes some sleuthing to figure out what!

Oh i'm so glad it's not permanent haha!~ It was a very small tooth so I will assume it is too.

As for why he bit me I think it was both hunger and the smell of my hands. I just cleaned my bathroom with strong chemicals so i'm sure he didn't like that and he ate after I set him by his bowl!
Thank you so much for the help ; v ; I feel much better now and i'm sure he will too <3
