Not really sure what's wrong..

Finley is 3 months old and he's had some irregular physical issues lately . I've looked up all of the issues separately and none of them tie together, like it doesn't seem as if he has one problem that all of his issues are stemming from. He's had cloudy gelatinous discharge from his penis, maybe it was from his own "fun time" but his belly wasn't wet how it usually is if I happen to pick him up after. A few days pass and I noticed he had yellow coloring by his butt and under his arms, the next day on both sides of his face had what looked like single clumps of fur coming off. I left them be until bath time today and I was cleaning his quills and I guess I accidentally skimmed his face which took off the weird clump and leaving him with an abrasion on his face that seemed to be on the verge of bleeding. I have contacted his breeder and he has no idea what could be going on. I've checked him for mites and dry skin and he has neither. Finley besides these issues shows regular health. His cage is about 76 degrees. He eats, drinks, runs, breathes, and walks regularly. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

It's a bad picture, he really camera shy and a wiggler, but you can notice the yellow especially near his left armpit. This was also the only picture I could get of his issues.

Well the stuff he left on your lap would be the result of boy time... He must really like you.

I can't really see what you're describing in the picture. I would be more concerned about the clumps of fur coming off of his face, but I can't see it from the pic. The yellow color could just be a light urine stain. Pig gets those when I go a while without soaping him up.

Agreed with going to the vet for the skin/fur clump issues. Those sound like they could be the start of a possible skin infection. I can't say much on the discharge from his penis though. I've not had a male, so I'm not sure what the range of normal appearances for semen look like, or whether what you're seeing is a possible sign of a UTI or other health concern. Hopefully someone with more experience will have an opinion on that. If you go in to the vet for the skin issues, I'd definitely mention the discharge to your vet and see if they have any ideas.

I had a male hedgehog and I never saw anything like that come out of him. It could be normal, but I really have no idea.

Unfortunately, I have experience in that area, and semen can come out looking stringy like that. Think of it as giant DNA strands! :P

Maybe I'm just seeing every little thing and worrying about them, but I'll definitely bring him to the vet. Even if it's nothing it's always good to be reassured you have a healthy hedgie. (: Thank you all for your imput and help!
