Default Lidocaine spray on hedgie safe?

I recently bought a 2.5 year old hedgie who may have been abused by her previous owner. She has two huge bald spots that are very dry and flaky on each side of her body. The pet shop owner where we bought her at gave us a spray bottle called "Lido -Med" it's an anti itch spray and aids in the treatment of skin problems. It contains 2.46% lidocaine. The bottle says it is used for cats and dogs. Is this okay for Khaleesi?

I would not use anything on her without seeing a vet first to find out what's going on with her. Anything you use could just mask the symptoms (the itching) and make the underlying problem worse and harder to diagnose and treat.
Nancy, Lilysmommy and Melanie G. like this.
