Default Is millie showing her age?

Hey guys,
I got my little girl (millie) in april of 2011 but I got her from a pet store so not really sure how old she was at the time of purchase. I am currently living 2.5 hrs away from where she is staying with a friend until I am done school. Jan has informed me that millie has not been eating much lately and her wheel doesn't have much poop on it which im assuming means she hasn't been as active lately. Any suggestions of what could be going on? I am starting to really worry about my baby and it is so hard not being able to be there for another couple weeks to keep an eye on her myself. Jan also mentioned that a couple of her front paw nails are getting a bit long but shes nervous to cut them herself. Could that explain why she isn't running as much? I thought she might be constipated so I told her to give her some pumpkin but before she got to that millie pooped twice on her and peed on her lol so I'm not so sure that's the problem

She might be running less due to the nails. Could Jan take Millie to the vet or to someone else who would be comfortable clipping her nails? They're going to get even longer and more uncomfortable for Millie if she has to wake another few weeks before they get clipped.

To cover the rest of the bases...has anything in Millie's environment changed that Jan can think of? Is her temperature the same and what is it? Does Millie have a heating set up? Is she getting 12-14 hours of light during the day? And is there definitely no light in her room at night that might be causing less activity?

she is going to attempt doing her nails tonight which should be interesting...good thing millie is very good about it and just lets you do your thing and everything is normal...its warm enough and she has light during the day and no light in the night that I know how. she is in a room by herself so she just gets light when the suns out and dark when its not so yah.

What is she eating? If hard kibble, it may be that she is now having difficulty crunching it. She could have a tooth issue, lost teeth, or her jaws have weakened with age as often happens. Try offering her dampened kibble or canned food to see if her appetite perks up.
