Default Wheel Cleaning wipes

Alright, this is my first post so forgive me If I make a mistake

Just this morning, I think I made the misktake of cleaning my hedgehog Moe's wheel with a disinfectant wipe. This is the first time I have done this, and I instantly afterward soaped it down and scrubbed it for ten minutes.

My question is whether or not I should take his wheel out or not because of the small traces of chemicals on his wheel.

I would think that washing it afterwards got rid of the chemicals. You're probably ok.

I don't think it is necessary for you to take the wheel out since you scrubbed the daylights out of it after using the wipe. A good cleaning solution is a mixture of 50% vinegar and 50% water to spray down the wheel and cage, it is safe and sanitary.
Welcome to HHC and kudos to you for caring so much about your hedgie!
