Exclamation Types Of Litter! URGENT

My dad went out and bought the Glade scented litter for our cat and forgot about my hedgehog. I'm cleaning his cage right now, so i was just wondering if anyone knew if this litter is okay for him??

No, it's not. Scented litter will probably be overwhelming for his nose, but more importantly, any clay cat litter is not safe at ALL for hedgehogs, especially for males. It's very easy for pieces to get caught in the penile sheath and irritate him. There's been a few cases of male hedgies mutilating themselves after something got caught in their sheath and was bothering them. It'd be better to use a loose paper bedding like Carefresh, Yesterday's News newspaper pellets, or just plain paper towels.

Agreed! I have a male hog and found that just a paper towel under his wheel is by far the easiest solution!
