Hi my hedgie, hachi doesn't look his normal self. His eyes seem to be bothering him and his ears are all bloody from I think scratching. And he has flakes.
I don't know what's wrong with him! |

It could well be mites. If he's scratching so much as to make himself bleed, I think a vet visit is in order. You'll want to get him seen as soon as possible. For a mite treatment, use Revolution, NOTHING ELSE. If the vet suggests Ivomec/Ivermectin, REFUSE IT. There are a couple of threads in this very section detailing how sick hedgies can get from it, and a few discuss hedgies who have died from that stuff. Keep it far, far away from your hedgehog.
