Default 1 & 1/2 yrs old and still growing?! Or over weight?

Hi

Sorry if a similar post exists, i couldn't find it. My hedige is about a 1yr and half old and still seems to be having growth spurts. He was 5months old when i first got him and he weighed 285g for ages. Then about 7mnths later he lost lots of quills/dry skin problems and grew to approx 400g in about a month or so. Things settled down until this March when he went through another quill loss episode which settled down again after about a month, by the end of which he weighed 480g. Though he's been fine i've just weighed him and he's now about 580g!!

Im a little worried, should i be? He's not as active as he was when i first got him but he's still getting up and wheeling at night, eating a little more than he was but pooping and peeing fine. Water intake good also.

I've attached pics to see if he's anyone thinks he's just getting a little over weight?

Oh, at the end of the last quill loss episode he had a small URI that was delt with, but the vet didn't seem worried about his weight.

Thanks for any ones opinions.

He is cute! Looks alittle fluffy in the pics
What is he being fed?
Lots of bigger hogs have trouble running on a FS. How's his nails look?

He's being fed Purina One Natural, Hills science light & James Wellbeloved light (i live in UK so not the same brands as you guys get). All three are within the fat & protein guidelines and i think been mentioned on here before.

His nails are ok. He has quite long quicks so not that short though. He loves his FS wheel, but next to it is his CWS wheel (the stand is just in one of the picks ) He has 2 wheels as its the only thing he's ever been interested in!

So you don't think i should be too worried? He's just taking his time in growing?!

Doesn't look fat to me, the overhead shot is probably the best to gauge this. I think he looks fine, also uber cute. <3 Who knows, maybe he's just a big hog, I think my Quillamina is sort of on the large side too, but not just outward, she's sort of longish too.
