Bump toward back?
I wasjust petting my baby today and noticed his quills sticking up weird in one spot and thenthere was a huge pump. He changed positions and it seems to be gone. Are hedgies known to have a lot of weird bumps that can cause scares?

Inky scared me to death one time with a "mysterious bump" on his belly, but he moved and it disappeared. That was months ago, and I haven't seen anything at all since. I have a slight suspicion that it was just one of his male parts the bulged oddly.
 One side of his jaw also seems to puff up slightly sometimes. I'm always running my fingers along his jaw to be sure there are no tumors, and nothing ever seems different. Hedgies do love to worry us!

Yeah the bump was VERY visible, almost right over his back leg....towards his back. Then it disappeared. I will have him checked anyway because I do not want anything to happen to the little nugget. haha
