As a new hedgie mom, I read we can use baby wipes to clean their wheel. I bought an unscented brand free of everything, but every single packet has aloe. I know tree oil is toxic for hedgies, but have any of you heard anything about aloe?
By the way, we had our well check at the vet today and all is well. Good heart, no lumps, no mites, no parasites in her poop. For any other new owner, be sure to bring a stool sample with you to save you a trip back with a sample.
She definitely didn't like the vet, so we are giving her some more adjustment time. We have held her daily and she still has a good disposition.
Any input on Aloe is appreciated.

Re: Aloe reactions
I know of some hedgie people that recommend aloe but personally I wouldn't use it. It is on the SPCA toxic plants list. http://www.aspca.org/site/PageServer...cc_toxicplants
