Huge daily weight fluctuation
Does anybody else have this problem? Rory is about 2 1/2 months and I weight him daily. He's just started quilling. Lately, these are his weight stats from the last 10-ish days:
10/6 - 234g
10/8 - 238g
10/9 - 224g
10/13 - 258g
10/14 - 244g (he started quilling this day)
10/15 - 264g
10/16 - 238g
As you can see, he's can lose/gain up to 20g a day. I weight him at around the same time every day (before I feed him in the evening) so it's not a matter of water/food weight. I was wondering if anyone else has this happen with their babies, and whether it is normal to gain/lose almost 30g in a night?
any feedback would be great. I'm a bit worried. I measure out his food so he's also getting the same amount. last night (the largest weight loss) he had 3 mealies! Anything in response would be good!

They can easily lose 20g with one large poop. Weight is just one factor used to assess their condition. Fluctuations aren't much of a problem - trends are, or sudden weight loss in conjunction with other symptoms (such as not eating or drinking).
