Talking BROKEN TOOTH

SO MY LITTLE NAPOLEON BIT DOWN ON SOMETHING REALLY HARD THE OTHER NIGHT AND HE BROKE HIS TOOTH OFF IN HALF, AND THE TOP HALF THAT IS LEFT IS BROKEN LONG WAYS UP AND DOWN, AND BOTH HALF PIECES WOBBLE AND ARE PRETTY LOOSE.
NAPOLEON WAS CRANKY AT FIRST AND I DONT BLAME HIM, BUT NOW HE IS ACTING NORMAL AND IS EATING HIS KIBBLE WITH NO PROBLEM. I TRIED FEEDING HIM SOME SOFT FOOD AND HE REFUSED TO EAT IT SO PLEASE TELL ME WHAT I SHOULD DO. OH AND I LOOKED INSIDE HIS MOUTH AND NOTHING WAS SWOLLEN YET. I HAVE TO GIVE THE VET A CALL BUT BEFORE THAT I WONDERING IF THERE IS ANYTHING ELSE I COULD DO, OR GIVE HIM THAT CAN HELP.....THANK YOU

I too suggest a vet. The broken tooth is likely to be sensitive and cause problems in the future. He will probably need it pulled.

I will echo everyone about the vet. If the tooth is wigeling and broken in half, only a vet can do something.

well thank you everyone...i made an appointment, unfortuanatly its for next week but better than nothing =)...it was very helpful
