He has been a sour puss teh past while more the usual, he still is eating drinking and running at night, but his poops are off, kinda green. He is just unpleseant all the time. Only changes are i come home at a later time, and usually when he is having his run. Iv also had new people coming over. Could I be the reason he is being all grumpy and having odd poops?

Noticed any dropped quills? They can have a late-onset quilling around the age of 6 months (I see his age in your sig).

Green poops are commonly linked to stress or illness. If he's not used to new people being over and around his cage, it could be stressing him out. If he's still eating/drinking/pooping he's probably okay, but hedgehogs can be prone to simple things like bacterial flareups in their GI tract- basically an upset tummy. You can get him a probiotic, some acidophilus from a Rx store like Walgreens, and put it on his food.

Of course, when in doubt, visit a vet.
