Default Is this blood?

Last night I noticed something red on Ezra's face and I was really worried but he didn't act different and I didn't see it anywhere other than his face and I didn't see any injuries so my dad said it was probably a water stain, but today I noticed some red-ish spots on his towel that he goes to the bathroom on in front of his wheel. I still don't see any injuries and he's acting normal so I wanted to show some pictures and see what anyone thought...

Someone help me with this, I really don't know what to do.. There's more since last night and I'm really worried. I'm going to give him a bath and see if I see any wounds or blood on his body, I'm not sure if it's happening when he's going to the bathroom or what. Obviously I will take him to the vet if needed, which I guess I should, but his vet is over 3 hours away. I just really want someone else's opinion on this... Here's a picture from today.

That looks like blood-tinted mucus to me. Could be a bacterial infection in his tummy-- I am also noticing some green poops. Take him into the vet and have them run a fecal, they can give you the appropriate antibiotics.

Actually, you know what, that was my crappy monitor. What color are his poops?

His poops aren't green and they seem completely normal to me, no changes there.

He might have just cut his paw while running. If you don't see anything wrong with him when you give him a full body check up, I really wouldn't worry.

I can't tell if it's from an injury or from his urine. If it were an obvious injury, I'd say just keep an eye on him and keep it clean, but because it could be from urine, a vet visit may be in order (I know people hate when every little thing calls for a vet visit, but it's better safe than sorry, right?). If it were me, I would get him out and keep him in a clear container for a while until he goes pee-- that way you KNOW if it is a urine issue. If there's no blood when he pees, like Shae said, I would just wash his paws and not worry too much.

When I checked him I didn't find any "injuries" but it did look almost as if there was a tiny scratch-ish looking thing on his penis, so I think maybe he just scratched it doing something? Could that be it? The first time that I saw it on his towel, it didn't seem to really be in the pee, but more in random places on the towel and it was on his face, so I thought that might be it. Is it possible that he somehow got a cut/scratch on his penis and that did it? Or no? And if that's it then does he need to go to the vet? I just really don't want to run off to a vet over three hours away to be told there isn't a problem/they can't do anything if I really don't have to but I'm still a bit worried.

If it was from the urine it would have probably been mixed with the rest of the urine in the first photo. But that container idea is brilliant if you want to just make sure

As for a cut on his penis... are you referring to the slit at the very end? Because all hedgies have that. Their peepees kinda look funny

Just keep an eye out. If he looks like he's bothered in anyway, rush him to the vet immediately. For now I wouldn't worry too much and maybe just give him a bath to keep him clean

Ohhh, no. Not the slit. haha I'm just gonna see what happens tonight and if it gets worse or he seems upset then I plan to take him to the vet tomorrow.
