Default Hedgehog died unexpected

Hi, I am very devastated to say my hedgehog Lily past away tonight I brought her into the vet for a UTI about a month ago the vet took my word and gave me antibiotics which I thought helped her. After about a week she stopped bleeding and was what seemed to be back to normal. Nothing alarming, so I never took her back to the vet and quit the medicine a week after using. The night before I noticed she hadn't eaten anything but it didn't spark concern as she was pooping and no blood. I cleaned her cage that same day. I am mad at myself for not checking on her earlier in the morning as I was in a rush to get things done and had been busy all day. I noticed she hadn't eaten anything again last night so when I went to pick her up so was stiff. Her cage had a pool of blood where she was sleeping so im guessing something inside her ruptured possibly, I dont know? I forgot to mention when I was giving her the medicine I noticed her belly felt a bit tighter or unusual, but after a few days it went back to normal. Does anyone know what could have been the problem other than a UTI or to why she hadn't shown any other signs other than bleeding a month ago and not eating the past couple days? RIP Lily.

I'm so sorry. I lost my baby HeijiSan suddenly too. If there's an obvious injury the vet will be able to diagnose that but if there's an underlying cause I think the only way of knowing is with a necropsy, but if you haven't gotten one yet, the tissue is probably too decomposed by now. I'm sorry. No one should ever have to find out their baby died by surprise like that.
