Stinky large stools
My hedgie,Twigs, is only week old and he is eating and drinking normal. Then just yesterday he had a large horrible smelling stool! I had to basically run out of the room! He had been eating kitty food (what his breeder fed him and the same brand) he has been drinking normally. So why his stools so large and stinky?

Hedgehog stool can be pretty stinky, especially dependent on the main meat ingredient in his dry diet (fish tends to cause more odor). If this is sudden, it may have also been due to stress. How long have you had him? Did you change anything in his enclosure or diet?

I have had him for about 5 days. The main meat in his diet is chicken. So I guess it could be stress. Thanks

His diet is still the same. We got his food from his owner.
