Default Rapid Death, Bleeding

Hi all... My baby passed this morning.. I'm just looking for answers as to what may have caused this.
Yesterday he had some diarrhea, no blood. I didn't think much of it since he was still eating, drinking, wheeling and bitchy.
I woke up this morning to him awake, which is abnormal. He hadn't eaten anything or used his wheel. I picked him up and he didn't puff but was alert. he had poop around his bum so I decided to give him a bath.. he made minimal effort to keep his head above water. I took him out and brought him for a snuggle while waiting for a vet to open. Within less than an hour he became limp and started gasping for breath. Very soon after he stopped and began bleeding from his anus - a lot. Then he was just gone.
I'm just wondering if anyone has experienced something similar or know what may have happened to him.
There have been no recent changes in his living environment or diet.

I don't know what caused it, but that sounds like the most terrifying experience ever.. I'm so sorry about your little man.

It could be a few things, the most likely one is a tumor that ruptured and caused him to bleed out. If that's what it is then there was nothing you could do to prevent it. The only way to know for sure was to have taken his body to the vet to have a necropsy done.
