Default Foot baths & Regular Baths

How often should I give my hedgie a foot bath? All I know is that I should give one to him more often than a regular full body bath. Is it okay to give him a foot bath once every three day or so? Or is it a daily thing? How often should I give him a regular bath? I bought the Aveeno Baby Gentle Wash. Do I need soap for a foot bath, or just for a regular bath? Help would be appreciated. Thanks!! :3

For footbaths, you just use a little bit of plain water in a sink. I just do them as often as needed. I find that most of the time, they don't need them every day anyway. Full baths should probably be given once every month or so or when their quills are dirty. Also, if they are giving you hedgie hives that's a good sign that they need a full bath. Hope this helps 😊

I understand some get poopy feet more often than others -- I guess depending on how much they poo on their wheel and run through it. Depends on the hog.

@Shaymin, it will be fun each of us getting to know our individual hedgehogs around the same time and learning how to be hedgehog parents.
