Default He Passed Out on the Wheel

It's 1 am here and I just got woken up by my mom telling me there's something wrong with my boy.

At first I didn't wanna believe it but I went to check and he was just laying there, quills raised and unmoving.

Immediately I went to pick him up and he huffed and clicked at me, and balled up, (he hasn't balled up in a while).

I held him and talked to him until he unballed and stood on my hand. His quils was still raised though.

I placed him down and he just stood there, sniffing the air before eventually, after a few minutes, starting to walk, finding the nearest hiding spot.

I picked him up again and held him, stroking his quils down and placed him on the ground, stroking the side of his face, which he allowed after a few clicks.

I placed him back into his 'hide' he has and my mom suggested me taking out the wheel since she thinks he might have overdone himself and passed out.

I don't know what to think at this point really... I'm scared, that's for one.

What might have happened and how can I prevent it from happening again?

He may have just been tired and took a nap. Ours does that a lot. She will run like crazy and then fall asleep on her wheel. And if you wake her up you will hear about it!

I wouldn't think so he probaly got tired and took a sleep break. They just love to freak out their servants (us).
