Hello everyone,
My senior hedgehog, Wonton, seems to have an eye issue. I noticed it earlier this week. At first I thought he had an eye booger stuck to his pupil but after looking closely and attempting to flush it out I realized it was the eye itself and not something that would come off. It looks like a cataract but theres also a slightly textured part that looks like a slit or scratch. There is no swelling or redness and he doesn't seem to be in pain. His left eye looks a little cloudy but not like this one. I'm concerned because it seems to have come from nowhere, although maybe I just didnt notice until it progressed. Does anyone have experience with this? I plan on taking him to the vet tomorrow but always like to hear input from you all. |
