Default Eating a healthy amount but barely uses the bathroom

Hi all,
So as a new hedgehog owner I did a bad thing and fed Sonic actual hedgehog food. The breeder told me what she had been feeding him and said if he eats the food you got him then don’t worry about. So the first day he ate it and did fine with it. But he was pooping and peeing a lot which I thought was normal because everybody said nothing can prepare you for the amount of poop this littte animal can produce!

Then about a week and a half ago he started running low on food so I decided to switch him to the kitten food the breeder suggested. The first night I did a mix of the old food and the new food and when I checked on him the next morning he had only eaten the new kitten food and he left the old food untouched. So I started only giving him the kitten food. He eats a good amount and has been drinking just fine but he is pooping and peeing significantly less than he did before. Still every morning his wheel will have some poop but that’s the only place. Before he did his business all over the cage and still destroyed his wheel each night.

I might be worried over nothing but if anyone can give me some piece of mind that would be great!

Animals on a better quality food will poop less because there are less fillers in the food.
