My three year old hedgie has a enormous, bigger than her head tumor on her throat/shoulder area. Its dark gray and is wrapping from the center of her throat to past her shoulder. It sticks out extremely far where she can't ball up properly.
Its been there for about a year but has suddenly started growing very fast The vet said its solid but probably doesn't reccommend surgery because hedgehogs don't heal well due to infections and picking at the stitches.. Has anyone else faced this before? What happened? Should I go through with surgery? ![]() |
